I was lucky enough to commit to Vanderbilt as a freshman in high school, and when I got there I earned a National Championship ring with the Commodores. It was one of the best experiences of my life and it taught me what it takes to compete at that level every single day.
After some time at South Carolina, I transferred to Oral Roberts — and that's where things really took off. I became the cleanup hitter for the 2023 team that nobody expected to make it anywhere, and we ended up going all the way to Omaha. That season I hit .320 with 19 home runs and 71 RBI, was named a Third Team All-American, and hit an inside-the-park home run at the College World Series. Only one other player in history has done that.
I've spent summers in the Cape Cod League and the Northwoods League, and I've played baseball in 44 of the 50 states. After college I signed with the Chicago White Sox organization, where I was named Competitor of the Year. I'm still playing today.
